This still Appellation d’Origine Contrôlée rosé wine is produced in our cellars at Les Riceys. The grapes are harvested here too on the steep, sun-lit slopes chosen by our forebears. This wine was a great success with King Louis XIV, who first tasted it thanks to local masons working on the foundations of his palace at Versaillles.

True to tradition we use Pinot Noir grapes, which are left to macerate for a short while. Rosé des Riceys stands out as a distinctive wine, boasting a marvellous ruby-red colour and the fragrance of red fruit.

It comes in a lovely, etched bottle and is best enjoyed young, for an apéritif, with a starter or with fish, white meat or local cheese.

We only make this wine from really good vintages.
